Today’s the day! SUBLIMATION is OUT and it is REAL and it is in HARDCOVER and AUDIO and EBOOK and my god, now people are actually going to read it. Okay, people have been reading ARCs for months. But you know what I mean. Now PEOPLE are going to read it.
That’s enough hysterics.
If you’re reading this newsletter, I’ve probably asked you to preorder maybe one too many times, so I’ll refrain from saying “Hey! It’s out! Please go buy it!”
But what I will ask you to do, is to please tell someone about SUBLIMATION. Tell your friend who likes litfic who will read One science fiction novel this year. Tell your scifi nerd friend who will read One “regular” book this year. Tell your friend who really likes Severance. Tell your friend who moved here from another country. Hell, tell your dad about it, why not, if he reads it he’ll probably tell you something interesting about his life.
I think it’s a pretty good book, but you can be the judge of that.
Or you can trust Daniel Nieh who reviewed it for the NYT and called it a “remarkable debut” and said that I have “preternatural storytelling skill.” >:3
And also—thank you for your support so far, since I guess if you follow my newsletter you’re invested in Things I Make. I really appreciate it. I never really felt like people cared about my weird ideas when I was younger, and it’s been a lovely surprise to find out people do care. So. Thank you! I hope you enjoy the novel and or the other things I write in the future. It’s All For You, Baby!
